Today's featured etsy shop is Designs by Victoria, where you will find beautiful wire wrapped jewelry, embellished parasols, and more...Her creations range from sterling silver and Steampunk wire wrapped jewelry to embellished parasols, and other fine accessories for daily use or costuming. Victoria is inspired by classic lines and vintage looks, and many of her designs are one of a kind. The necklace and earring set above is an example of her beautiful work. The Neo Victorian Freshwater Pearl choker would be lovely for bridal jewelry. It is made with over 100 freshwater pearls, hand wire-wrapped and linked together in this lovely design.

Featured Etsy Shop Series: JemsbyJBandCompany

The featured jewelry shop on etsy this week is jemsbyjbandcompany. While hiking in the Adirondacks in New York, Judy's husband Bill discovered their first piece of garnet, and this was the birth of their jewelry company. Bill cuts and polishes some of their finds, and Judy creates jewelry from them. In addition they often use other semi precious gemstones, and sometimes Swarovski crystal and Czech glass in their reasonably priced, one of a kind designs. Featured above is an example of their wonderful necklaces, Watermelon, made with aventurine and agate beads.

Judy designs lovely bracelets using a great variety of gemstone beads, along with beads of other materials like wood, polymer clay, lampwork glass and sterling silver. The Seafoam bracelet uses aventurine, chinese turquoise and fire crab agate along with sterling silver for a one of a kind creation.

Don't miss the earrings section in JemsbyJbandCompany! The beautiful earrings on the left are made with polished jasper gemstones in warm caramel tones, which gives them their name Caramel.  On the right are the Smoky Mountain Earrings featuring smoky topaz quartz briolette drops, wrapped with sterling silver wire to sterling hoops adorned with cube beads of botswana agate - such a lovely combination of colors that will spice up the neutrals in your wardrobe.

This week's shop is Shazzabeth Creations on etsy, featuring unique handcrafted jewelry. She specializes in Chainmaille and Wire Work Jewelry. She works in sterling silver and goldfill for her wire work jewelry, and in sterling, copper and bronze in her chainemaille designs. Above is a fabulous example of her talent with wire and gemstones,  Sterling Silver Harmony Necklace. This necklace features sterling silver wire wrapped in herringbone pattern around bluestone gemstone beads, freshwater pearls and a Bali Harmony Ball chiming bead pendant.

Shazzabeth has many lovely bracelets in chainemaille, such as the pretty Padparascha Romanov Chaine Maille bracelet featuring swarovski crystals. These gorgeous labradorite gemstone earrings in a sterling wire wrapped design can be found in the earrings section of her etsy shop. Today I'm featuring CapitalCityCrafts on Etsy, "Unique Sterling Silver Jewelry with Character". This jewelry designer and silver artisan creates lovely jewelry featuring gemstones, lampwork glass, and sterling silver. The beautiful Cloud Beads with Kyanite Drops Sterling Silver Earrings show her artistry with handforged sterling silver, combining lampwork beads and kyanite gemstone drops.

Featured Etsy Shop Series: DesignsbyCher

This week I'm taking a look at the etsy shop of  DesignsbyCher where you can find handmade contemporary and vintage style jewelry along with handforged metal designs. This artisan enjoys using gemstones, crystals, artisan lampwork and glass beads - and metalwork wire designs using sterling silver, goldfill, brass and copper in her work. A beautiful example of her gemstone jewelry is her Desert Sands Bracelet. She has other beautiful bracelets using a rainbow of gorgeous stones and beads in her shop.

       
Check out her necklace section for lovely creations such as this pretty necklace Vase of Flowers. Not to be missed are Cher's earrings in a variety of styles, and in every size from petite dangles to long and dramatic.  This artisan enjoys working with metal and handforges many of the earrings wires, clasps and other elements in her jewelry. Take a look at the forged copper necklace below, "Blueberry Swirls" for a beautiful example of her talent with metal. She has even opened a section in her shop so people can buy her handmade findings such as the lovely brass toggle clasp below right.

This week I'm taking a look at the etsy shop of LittleBrownBird where you can find handcrafted jewelry and accessories. This artisan loves to use glass beads in her jewelry, like the Plum Faceted Glass and Antique Brass Earrings featured above. You will find earrings made with blown glass, vintage beads and freshwater pearls in her shop.

LittleBrownBird also makes custom order jewelry in fine silver. Take a look at this necklace from her "Love Quotes" line in fine silver with gold accents. She has lots of cute necklaces in other styles featuring resin pendants, gemstones and glass beads.

Featured Etsy Shop Series: SilverCanyons

Silver Ridge Sterling Silver Domed Ring

Silver Canyons features Sterling and Fine Silver hand crafted jewelery including Enamel, Resin, metal etching designs, gemstones and metalsmithing techniques. A beautiful example of her work is the ring above, which is one of a kind. She designed this ring, first as a wax carving, then cast it in sterling silver. It has a slightly domed profile and has a smooth interior for comfortable wear. A patina was added to bring out the carving detail, and then it was polished to a high shine.

Silver Canyons offers a variety of designs featuring enameling in beautiful colors on fine silver. She creates earrings, bracelets and necklaces using this technique. The following photo shows her pendant "Catch the Wave", which uses a technique of enameling called "champleve".

Another technique used by this jewelry artisan to enhance her silver jewelry is adding resin. She loves to use color and says,  "I am drawn to color! What a dull world this would be without it! The colors I incorporate within my designs range from soft delicate shades of color to vibrant hues. I love them all!". This bracelet is a beautiful example.
